To better serve our residents, you now have two (2) new ways to submit service requests, either via the Resident Portal OR the toll free number.  Please DO NOT do both as it delays the process.

Award winning Navy housing and the nation's first on base charter school make New Orleans one of the finest duty stations in the world. Enjoy the security of an on base gated community with all of the amenities of upscale townhome living. With 525 new townhomes and 416 previously constructed townhomes and flats, NONH has 941 two-, three- and four-bedroom units to fit every family size.

New Orleans Navy Housing is situated on 2 Navy bases, Naval Air Station, Belle Chasse and Naval Support Activity located in New Orleans alongside the Mississippi River. Southern Charm and hospitality greet you everywhere. Other base family facilities include (MWR sponsored) swimming pools, bowling alleys and a state of the art fitness center. Walking distance from housing you find a base chapel (located on both bases) and a brand new community center located at NONH, Belle Chasse, available to all residents at no charge.

 

Driving Directions: From the East: Travel I-10 West through Slidell and New Orleans East. Stay on I-10 West and follow I-10 West signs (do not split off to I-610). Continue on I-10 West pass the French Quarter and Canal Street. As you pass the Canal Street exit begin to look for “90 West to Westbank” sign. Move to right and exit 90 West but move to the left lane as you leave I-10 West. Stay to the left and follow “Westbank” signs, pass the Super Dome and cross over the “Mississippi River Bridge” also known as the “Crescent City Connection”.

> FOR NSA, exit Gen de Gaulle, the first exit on the Westbank. Follow the Gen de Gaulle exit to the left; at the bottom of the exit move to the left lane as soon as possible. The first stop light is Shirley Drive. Turn left onto Shirley Drive. Shirley Drive will end at the entrance of Naval Support Activity. The Patrician Management Office is located behind the Navy Lodge.

FOR NAS, after crossing the bridge stay on the high rise that goes over the Westbank Expressway. Exit at Lafayette Street. Turn left at the bottom of the exit. Lafayette ST, Belle Chasse Hwy, and Highway 23 are all the same road. From the Lafayette St exit to Naval Air Station is a 8 mile drive. You will pass through a tunnel as you enter Belle Chasse. NAS’s entrance is on the right; just look for the “Blue Angel” plane. The main entrance of the base is Russell Avenue. The Patrician Management is located at 303 Russell Avenue, three blocks inside the gate on your left.

> From the West: Travel I-10 East through Kenner and Metairie (Jefferson Parish). I-10 East will split at the entrance of Orleans Parish. Stay to the right and follow "I-10 East New Orleans Business" signs. 3 miles down notice "Hwy 90, Westbank Business" sign. Move to the left land and follow Hwy 90, Westbank signs. Continue past the superdome and drive over the Mississippi River Bridge.
